Researcher, educator and consultant specialising in neurodiversity, literacy and inclusive education.

My work begins by listening to people whose experiences are too often overlooked. Through research, teaching and consultancy, I explore how education shapes identity, opportunity and belonging, with a particular focus on neurodiversity and social justice, literacy and inclusive practice utilising AI for adaptive learning.

I bring together rigorous research and lived experience to question established systems and turn evidence into meaningful change. My aim is to help create education that recognises difference, responds to learners and enables more people to thrive.

Research, Education and Creativity

My work brings together educational research, inclusive practice and AI-supported adaptive learning. I investigate how neurodiversity, social justice, and self-efficacy shape learners’ experiences, while supporting educators in using adaptive approaches and AI to respond more effectively to individual needs.

Alongside my academic work, I create stories for children informed by my PhD research into meaningful literacy. My books aim to centralise neurodivergent voices and stories. Across every strand of my work is a shared commitment to curiosity, compassion and meaningful change.

In-person and remote options

Based at De Montfort University in Leicester, I can make use of the university’s facilities for suitable meetings, workshops and collaborative activities.

I can also travel to your organisation to deliver consultancy, training and workshops in person. Remote and hybrid options are available, allowing us to work together wherever you are based.
